$240,000 Settlement for Flu Shot GBS

In February 2017, the Law Offices of Leah V. Durant, PLLC obtained an award of $240,000.00  for a client who was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome following the administration of a routine flu vaccination. As in the previous case, although the Department of Health and Human Services (the agency responsible for administering the VICP) denied that the individual’s vaccination caused the condition, the claim was ultimately settled for a significant level of award.

$165,500 Damages Award for Individual Diagnosed with SIRVA Following Flu Shot

In a case in which a client was diagnosed with shoulder injury related to vaccine administration following receipt of a flu shot, the Office of Special Masters determined that the client was entitled to compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. In this case, compensation was awarded in the amount of $165,500.00.

$132,719 Settlement for Client Diagnosed with GBS following TDaP Vaccination
